Did you watch Friday Night Dinner?

I've really got to like this now. It's not throwing out any rulebooks or whatever but it makes me laugh.

About bloody time.

Jim the neighbour and his dog Wilson get funnier as it goes on - at first I just though "it's Mark Heap doing what he does" but it's really quite magnificent in its twitchy ludicrousness.

It's all quite good really. Because not a lot happens and it's all in (mainly) 2 rooms, but it's still really funny. Mark Heap is ace, and I like the way he's scared of Wilson. I find the offensive texts from his mom's mobile just fabulous.

Glad you're liking it

it's not much of a stretch from reality - you can imagine most of what goes on happening quite easily. And it's not one of those sit-coms where every character makes witty one-liners - it's just really enjoyable.

Did you see This Is Jinsy on sky Atlantic ? Peter Serafinowicz was in the second episode.

Alice Lowe's in it as well, and Harry Hill makes a cameo appearance (each week?) David Tennant was in the first episode. I'm still not sure quite what to make of it but it has made me smile.

I think I saw it on Sky Anytime - the episode with him in - but gave up before he appeared. I have become Xerses of the remote. Things must immediately entertain me, or I behead them.

In case you haven't seen it, Peter Seraf and Robert Popper did this the intermission of some thing they did celebrating 10 years since series 1 of Look Around You.

And this is something Robert Popper also posted, although you may have seen it on BoingBoing.

I started off just being fascinated by the movement but now the tune's really growing on me.

The look around you thing is most excellent. Why don't they make some more? I was disappointed with the second clip once it became apparent that there wasn't going to be any nudity.
