Happy New Year!

I would have checked in sooner but I went clean yesterday - whole day without going on the computer.

I like the Seagalflakes although I'm growing slightly worried about how obsessed you are becoming with the chubby action hero/recording artist/deputy sheriff/energy drink entrepreneur/Zen master.

Did you watch Lawman? Seagal is also the executive producer, so it's kinda favourably edited for him. Like Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter, you have to keep 'em peeled for subtle hints from the crew as to what he's actually like.

My favourite bits so far are:

The way he starts many of his sentences with "After 40 years experience as a trained martial artist..."

Seagal arrives at the scene of an arrest. There's already about 50 cops surrounding the perp who's down on the ground. "Taze him! Taze him!" shouts Seagal. I think Seagal tazed him in the end. Seagal then puts him in the van. I suspect that Seagal wasn't actually the arresting officer.

Ha ha - it sounds great.

I read something about an episode where they drive past a darkened alleyway and with his mastery of zen Seagal senses movement in the darkness. So they shine a torch into the dark and uncover nefarious ne'er-do-wells up to criminal activity.
