Hullo! Yes, I watched Boosh Night, obviously. I enjoyed the documentary part of it and could sit and watch the two of them just talking and picking at each other all night. They are fenuinely funny when they're just bouncing off each other. I went to see them when they were last on tour and loved it (so much so that I went twice) but didn't muster up the enthusiasm to buy tickets for the forthcoming tour. Mainly because it would be so much more of a faff to get tickets this time - I can't abide the whole trying to get online or at a ticket office the second they open just to get decent seats thing. It was a bit like that last time but I imagine that it will be much worse this time. I was also put off by the realisation that I'd probably be the oldest person in the building (definitely the audience, at least) - like you said, I thought about how the venue would be packed to the rafters with screaming and hysterical under 25s and how that would totally detract from the experience. Hell really can be other people.

I still fancy Julian Barratt though but only because he reminds me of Papa.

I forgot to say! I also laughed at the Lee 'Embittered' Mack and Paul 'Resentful' Whitehouse bits of the documentary but not for the reasons that they would like.....

Ha ha, yeah. Whitehouse seemed completely mystified by the whole thing. I've seen him on other stuff where he seems to come across as a miserable git these days, whereas Charlie Higson seems really affable.

Well Christmas comes early for you this year Ken (or late cos I'm responding to something you posted in November).

Some industrious chap recorded the interview The Mighty Boosh did with Colin Murray for Radio One in his In The Company Of... slot. With any luck you can download it here:
