Either I'm back on the crack, or Alan Moore was on the Simpsons the other day.

Also, bought Ex Machina V.1 the other day. It's ahem, Ex-machina-ellent. Superheroes, guns, swearing, NSA, FBI, little bit of politics. Decent script. Marvellous.

Have also brought The Authority, which is 'ight.

I'd heard he was on it but I haven't seen that episode yet. I've kind of lost touch with the Simpsons as I got sick of seeing repeats and weak episodes. I'd watch it if I could just be spoon-fed one's I haven't seen yet.

I haven't read any Ex Mach yet, although I do have a fat book of it. The final issue of the comic (#50) is due in stores this month.

Does The Authority start with Warren Ellis's run or is it Mark Millar? It gets better. Also worth getting Ellis's run of StormWatch which eventually leads into Authority.

No I don't get out much.

I expect that this was widely discussed but I knew nothing about it and only stumbled across it by accident: Banksy does the Simpsons title sequence...

I remember about 2 years ago or so, when we couldn't sell our house, I was toying with writing to him. "Dear Mr Banksy, come and do one of your murals on our house, so we can sell the house as part of the mural. Can't offer you any money, but I'll keep you well stocked up with tea and bacon sandwiches."

I could never find his address though. I should've just put "Banksy, London (or possibly, Bristol)" on the envelope and let those lazy fuckers at the Post Office sort it out.

Here's another Alan Moore interview

He's mostly talking about Dodgem Logic but there's some other stuff in there, albeit not a lot on comics.

When's the next League of Extraordinary Gentlemen out? Whilst I'm on, anything new from Astro City?

Think they're currently saying July - 2011 - although, you know, these things have been known to change.

nything new from Astro City?

Not since http://pagasus.org/cs/forums/p/127/1478.aspx#1478 - I dunno if they've decided to try to get further ahead on the schedule before going monthly or if anything's gone wrong.

I think the next thing Busiek's writing is this http://www.newsarama.com/comics/busiek-ross-kirby-genesis-110211.html which might be worth a look.

There's an new Alan Moore Q&A thing on the New Statesman website - haven't read it yet but it's mainly about his next prose novel, Jerusalem, and other things, not really about comics. There's a briefer bit here
