Oh dear. [:(]
Don't you know that racism amongst future kings can only lead to no good?

ah - hope it goes all right for him. Thanks for posting that Papa.

I used to be a big Sidebottom fan but kind of lost touch with him.

I remember seeing him Dorset Institute (now Bournemouth University) back in the day. The support act was Phil Cornwell, who went down well doing his David Bowie "Where's my sausages?" bit, but the Friday night crowd at the students union bar were expecting traditional comedy and clearly had no idea who Frank Sidebottom was or what he did. I was really disappointed when he got booed and bottled off and the gig ended prematurely.

A friend and I went "backstage" to apologise for the Bournemouth students' general ignorance - by that time the Frank head was off and Chris Sievey was drying himself off. We posed for photos with Little Frank but, inevitably, my camera was dodgy and ruined the pics.

At Glastonbury with Gorillaz, Shaun Ryder dedicated his performance of "Dare" to Frank Sidebottom, which I thought was nice.

Jon Ronson did a prog on Radio 4 last week on "Aiming Low".

He talks to Stewart Lee a bit, and then goes on to talk about Frank Sidebottom - there are a couple of great Frank anecdotes in the first ten minutes of the show - supporting Bros at Wembley and the like. I didn't realise that Jon Ronson was in Frank Sidebottom's band in the eighties. It's worth a listen.
