Apparently there's talk that Rhys Darby will replace Steve Carell in the American Office - dunno if it's been confirmed for definite one way or the other.

Cheers. Never knew that. Apparently, Carell is definitely going. And they're looking at Darby or Danny McBride to replace him. Or, given that it's not that funny anymore, they could just stop making it?

Kirsten Schaal (aka Mel from Flight of the Conchords) does one of the voices for new animation Bob's Burgers which they're showing on E4. I seem to be the only person I know watching it but three episodes in I think it's great - although I can't convey what about it I think is so funny. I've just discovered this week that they're only showing it a couple of weeks after it debuts in the states. One of the people behind it was involved in another great little cartoon called Home Movies which I used to watch on Cartoon Network (well, I say it was great - I only saw the first ten episodes or so).

You know that Brett McKenzie has written some of the songs for The Muppets movie don't you?

I watched it this week and loved it - thought it was clever and funny. I will admit that I have a very pro-muppet bias but it's a great family film too.

I did but only found out the other day. It sounded like he had a few problems getting some of the lyrics past "The Man" I may try and watch it, or maybe take the kids.

Speaking of the cinema, have you been to see The Spastic Menace in 3D?

No - can't be arsed. I've only seen 2 films work well in 3D and I don't feel a burning desire to watch Pantom Penace again.
